At the beginning, there is people who like to caress paper, to send letter by mail and to participate to collective projects. Then, there is the idea to link these people with bound sheets of paper. The idea to create artist books with papers sent from all over the world.
John Lennon sang Power to the People.
I propose Paper to the People.
I propose Paper to the People.
To participate : send me by mail 10 sheets of paper, 20x20 cm sized each. The kind of paper is absolutely your choice ; the 10 sheets have to be similar. Patterns, printings, writings are possible, but blank papers will be alright as well. The principal interest of your paper should be the paper itself. If you want, you can also add some words about your paper. Your 10 sheets will be divided up with other participants' papers. They will simply be bound, as they are, to create 10 artist books. Each participant will receive a copy gathering 10 different papers.
